Tim W. Munchenburg Hobart Tim W. Munchenburg, age 24, of Hobart, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2002, suddenly as the result of an automobile accident. Tim was a lifetime Hobart resident and employed at U.S. Steel in Gary as a Utility Engineer. He was a Hobart High School graduate of 1996. He was active in Hobart High School baseball as an outstanding pitcher and also a member of the last State Championship in Football.
He is survived by his parents, Tim E. and Cathy Munchenburg of Hobart; two sisters, Jennifer Munchenburg of Hobart and Melissa (fiance, Matt Glowski) Munchenburg of Crown Point; grandfather, William Balcerak of Hobart; God parents, Bob Sirko and Cecelia "Chi-Chi" Anderson; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by grandparents Patty Balcerak and Fred and Marion Munchenburg.
Funeral services will be Monday, January 14, 2002, 9:30 a.m. prayers at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart, IN, preceding to St. Bridget Catholic Church for Celebration of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. with Rev.
