OBITUARY FROM POST-TRIBUNE, APRIL 1, 2012:

Kundrat, John Michael, Jr. Age 32 of Hobart, passed away on March 30, 2012. He was a graduate of Hobart High School, class of 1997 and UTI. He was an employee of Meijer in Merrillville.

He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Joseph and Helen Kundrat, step-father James Ritenour, and step-brother Adam Maicki. Survived by his father John (Carol) Kundrat of Hobart, mother Debbie Ritenour (Greg Maicki) of Hobart; maternal grandparents Martha (Don) Pritchard of Bloomington, IN and Ora (Estelle) Rush of Bedford, IN; step-brothers Ryan (Danielle) Maicki of Chicago and Chris Maicki of Hobart; nephew Rocco Adam Maicki of Chicago; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and loving friends.

Friends are invited to visit with John's family on Monday, April 2, 2012 from 2-8 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home, 701 E. 7th St., Hobart, IN. Funeral service Tuesday, April 3rd at 11 a.m. at Burns Funeral Home, Rev. Kevin McCarthy officiating. Interment in Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville.
