OBITUARY FROM GRACE GARDENS FUNERAL HOME WEBSITE, AUGUST (?), 2011:

John Michael Bradford (“JB”) age 53 of Hewitt, Texas passed away peacefully at Providence Hospital August 29, 2011. A remembrance will be held September 10, 2011 at his home. JB’s final resting place will be at one of his many fishing holes where he spent a majority of his spare time.

John was born November 3, 1957 to Joseph Milton and Edna Ruth Bradford in Gary, Indiana. He graduated from Hobart High School in 1976. John worked his whole life and very seldom slowed down. He moved to Texas where he finally planted his feet working as a residential and commercial painter. JB enjoyed fishing, football on Sundays, the Texas Rangers baseball team, spending time with his close friends, and visits with his mother and sister in Tennessee. He was a friend to all who met him, always telling jokes, laughing, and putting others first before himself.

John was preceded in death by his father Joseph and his closest friend, a brother as he would say, Douglas Gollihar. He is survived by his mother Edna, his sister Patty Wilkinson & family, his Texas family, several close friends, and 2 dogs and a cat.
