OBITUARY FROM POST-TRIBUNE, AUGUST 7, 2003:

JEFFERY W. WILLOUGHBY Age 44 of Lake Station passed away in the early morning hours of Tuesday, August 5, 2003 in his residence. He was a longtime resident moving here from Kentucky. He was employed with Gary Machinery where he worked as an electrician. He will be remembered by his family as a loving son, father and companion.

Jeffery is survived by his mother, Janice Willoughby; son, Daniel Willoughby; brothers, Glen (Amanda) Willoughby, Bob (Sybil) Willoughby, Dennis (Patty) Willoughby; sister, Martha Willoughby; special companion, Sherry Engelhardt and her children, Dorothy, Diane, Bobby (Shelby) Engelhardt; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Durward Willoughby; and brother, Emile Wade Willoughby.

Services will be Friday, August 8, 2003, 11 a.m. in Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd., Hobart, with Rev. James Armes officiating. Visiting hours will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday August 7, 2003 in Rees Funeral Home. For further information, please call (219)942-2109.
