Henry F. (Hank) Stozek - Class Of 1943

OBITUARY FROM POST-TRIBUNE, FEBRUARY 28, 2013:

Stozek, Henry F. "Hank" Age 88, of Hobart, passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart. Henry had been a lifelong Northwest Indiana resident and graduated from Hobart High School in 1943. He served in the US Navy during WWII as a motor machinist mate aboard the U.S.S. Brough. Hank retired form E. J. & E. Railroad with 36 years of service. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and flying remote control airplanes. He took great pride in maintaining his home and yard.

Hank is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Shirley E. (nee Mundell) Stozek; 2 daughters, Deidra (Vern) Rhodes of Hebron and Debra Stozek of Hobart; 2 granddaughters, Lara (Mark) Ling of Lafayette, IN and Amanda (Matt) Adamson of Bowling Green, KY; 3 great-grandsons, Parker Ling, Conner Ling and Aidan Adamson; 1 great-granddaughter, Olivia Adamson. His parents, Anthony and Mary Stozek preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 1:00pm at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd., Hobart, with Rev. David Banning officiating.
