Pendergrast, Esther M. 83 of Hobart, passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2013. She was born on July 17, 1930 in Gary the daughter of the late Ben M. and Lillian J. (Poggemeyer) Dommer. Esther graduated from Hobart High School in 1948 and retired as an Insurance Administration Clerk from U.S. Steel. On March 17, 1951 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hobart, Esther married Audie F. Pendergrast who preceded her in death in 2007.

Esther's wishes were to have no services, with cremation to take place at Angelcrest Crematory, Valparaiso. moellerfuneralhome.com.
