Dorothy Louise Pearson, 94, a resident of Crofton, MD. for 38 years and previously of Hobart, Ind., died of heart failure March 12, 2008 at Crofton Convalescent Center after an illness of two years.

Mrs. Pearson was born Aug. 30, 1913, in Crown Point, Ind. She graduated from Hobart High School and studied nursing at Methodist Hospital in Gary, Ind.

She worked as a nurse in Crofton from 1980 to 2005, and overall worked as a nurse for 70 years.

She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and living and traveling overseas with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Pearson Jr.

Survivors include one daughter, Dawn Clapp of Crofton; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
