There has been confusion on the parents of Roy Harrison Shearer. Information on the family from his son Dan, my brother-in-law, is that he is not the son of Uriah and Mary Shearer but the son of LeRoy "Roy" Shearer and Martha Gundlach. Dan states that he had an Uncle Grant and an Aunt May. That information ties to census records. Roy Shearer married Alice Nelson so that part is correct.
