WOOD, WILLIAM M., 90, of Clermont, formerly of Clearwater, died Sunday, March 22, 1998. He was born in Valparaiso, Ind., came to Clearwater in the early 1950s and moved in 1979 to Central Florida. He worked 25 years as a federal air traffic controller in the St. Petersburg area. He was a member of the Open Door Baptist Church in Clermont. Survivors include his wife, Hildah C.; a son, James W., St. Petersburg; three daughters, Judith Anderson, Rockledge, Susan W. Bishop, Merritt Island, and Joyce Muckenfuss, Redlands, Calif.; two stepsons, Lauren Cutner, San Diego, and Lawrence Cutler, Murrieta, Calif.; 17 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. All Faiths Cremation Society, Lady Lake.
