Obituary for Rosemarie Ehrhardt
Rosemarie Ehrhardt (Nee Morganelli) passed away on November 9, 2025. She was born on November 24, 1937, and graduated from Hobart High School in 1957. She pursued her nursing degree and worked as a registered nurse for forty years at St. Mary's Hospital. She married Tom Ehrhardt and together they had five children. They celebrated 64 years of marriage together.
She is pre-deceased by her son, Scot Christian; her mother and father, Stella and Peter Morganelli; her brothers, Nick and Pete; parent in laws, Albert and Claudia Ehrhardt; her brother and sister-in-law, Terry and Gerry Ehrhardt.
She is survived by her husband, Tom and four children: Lisa (Mill) Banker, Amy (Dave) Beier, Laura (Rick) Mech and Tom (Lynn) Ehrhardt; nine grandchildren: Millard, Abbey (Melvin) , Marissa, Morgan (Caleb), Molly, Samuel (Kaitlyn), AJ, Libby and Maddie; three great grandchildren, Merrick, Cannon and Emilia; brother and sister in law, Jim and Tina Ehrhardt; and many friends.
Rosemarie had a blessed life; a full life complete with sadness and challenges AND lots of joy! She enjoyed traveling and together with her husband and friends explored the world. She loved Jesus and was a lifelong parishioner of St. Bridget's Church in Hobart where she was baptized, married and celebrated her children's baptisms. She was very loved and will be deeply missed. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Bridget's or a charity of your choice, in her memory, would be appreciated. Visitation will be at Burns Funeral Home & Crematory, 701 East 7th Street, Hobart, IN 46342 on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, from 3 p.m. – 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Bridget's Catholic Church, 107 Main Street, Hobart, IN 46342 on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at 10 a.m. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery, Hobart, IN. www.burnsfuneral.com
