Ralph W. Melin, 84, former manager of the Public Service Indiana office in Delphi, died Monday, March 22, 1982, in Chicago.
Melin came to Delphi in 1934 and was a former director of the Delphi Chamber of Commerce and served as a member of the Delphi City Council from 1957-1971. He had been active in this community in Red Cross, Boy Scouts, USO, and the mental health association. He was a member and past president of Delphi Rotary Club and had served as trustee of the Delphi United Methodist Church.
His wife, Lillian, preceded him in death in 1958. He is survived by nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Hobart. A memorial service was held in the Delphi United Methodist Church at 2 p.m. on Sunday.
