Eugenia J. Pacyga, 85, of Rice Lake died July 23 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home. Funeral services were Tuesday at Jarocki-Skinner Funeral Home in Rice Lake with burial in Orchard Beach Cemetery in Rice Lake.

Mrs. Pacyga was born Aug. 12, 1923 to Stanley and Mary (Nowak) Brotko in New Chicago, Ind. She married Francis Pacyga on Dec. 6, 1942 in New Chicago. She enjoyed watching birds, playing cards and bingo and polka dancing.

She is survived by a daughter, Susan Pacyga Apple Valley, Minn.; three sons, Frank of Mesa, Ariz., Michael of Hampton, Va., and James of Rice Lake; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a brother, Victor.

Mrs. Pacyga's husband, Francis, preceded her in death.
