Charles L. "Chuck" Cain, 75 died at Centralia Providence Hospital on Friday, October 8, 2004. He was born on January 18, 1929 to Kyle and Helen (Miller) Cain in Gary, Indiana. Chuck married Jozella Cronch June 4, 1949 in Hobart, Indiana. They had lived in Onalaska for the past 48 years. Chuck worked for the Goodyear Tire Plant in Chehalis for many years. He enjoyed reading, gardening and time with his grandchildren.

Survivors in addition to his wife, Jozella, include; 2 daughters, Janet Gerber of Bellingham, Nancy Lawrence of Winlock; 2 sons, Kenneth Cain of Onalaska, Kris Cain of Salkum; 1 sister Ruth Smith of Onalaska; 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Kyle Cain, Phillip Cain and Ray Cain; also 2 sisters, Gertrude Loomis and Phyllis Ellis.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, October 15, 2004 at the Winlock-Toledo Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 122 Henriot Rd., Winlock.
