Naomi Owen (nee Grabill), age 77, of Crown Point (Lakes of the Four Seasons), IN, passed away Friday, February 25, 2005 at her home.
She is survived by her husband: Ben of 49 years

Son: Tim Owen all of Crown Point (LOFS)
2 Grandsons: Steven and Peter Owen of Hebron
Brother-in-law: Dallas Tidwell of Louisville, KY (formerly of Hobart)

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 1, 2005 at 10:00 AM at Church of the Four Seasons in Crown Point. Rev. Chris Nunley officiating. Burial at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville, IN.
Friends may call at the Geisen Funeral Home, 109 N. East St., Crown Point on Monday, February 28, 2005 from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM and 1 hour prior to the service DIRECTLY AT THE CHURCH on Tuesday.
Mrs. Owen was born on December 21, 1927 in Hobart, IN. She graduated from Hobart High School, Butler University with a Bachelor's Degree and received her Master's Degree from Valparaiso University. Naomi started her teaching career in Lake Station, IN and retired from the Crown Point Community School Corp. in 1987 where she taught music at Timothy Ball Elementary School. Mrs. Owen was a member of the Four Seasons United Methodist Church where she frequently played piano and accompanied the choir.
