Betty May Rose (nee Carter)

FISHERS, IN -- Betty May Rose (nee Carter), age 89, of Fishers, formerly of Hobart, passed away October 10, 2018. She was a wonderful homemaker, mother, wife, and author of Key Word and Jiffy Healing books, in which all proceeds were donated to charity.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Alice (nee MacDonald) Carter; husband, Lewis Rose, son of the late Mayor Fred Rose and Mayor Gladys Rose. She is survived by her three children, Douglas, Cynthia and Randall (Kim); two grandsons, Tucker and Boone; sister, Geraldine Vrtikapa; three nieces, Denise, Beth and Laura.

Visitation for Betty will be Monday, October 15, 2018, from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m., at Burns Funeral Home, 701 East 7th Street, Hobart, Pastor John Starr officiating. Interment Hobart Cemetery.
