Joseph Csokasy - Class Of 1949

OBITUARY FROM REES FUNERAL HOME WEBSITE:

Joseph Csokasy, age 92 of Kissimmee, Florida and formerly of Hobart passed away Monday, September 20, 2021. He was born in Hungary on July 25, 1929 to the late Julius and Irene Csokasy. Joe was a self made businessman and kept himself busy with many projects. As a real estate developer, he built the Lake George Plateau Subdivision and Buena Vista Hotels in Kissimmee, Florida and Marathon, Florida. He owned and operated a Radio Shack, a Jiffy Lube, a liquor store, a restaurant, a discount store, Mickeys giftshop right outside Walt Disney World and Lakeview Apartments in Hobart just to name a few. He was truly a people person with a love for animals. In his free time, he enjoyed racing sailboats and running fishing charters in the ocean.

He is survived by his sons, Joseph (Kathleen) Csokasy, Daniel Csokasy; daughters, Rebecca Jones, Alice (Randy) Spurlock; 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and a host of many wonderful friends from throughout the years.
