OBITUARY FROM THE POST-TRIBUNE, APRIL 16, 2006:
SHIRLEY LORENE JOHNSON Hobart, Indiana Age 74, passed away at St. Mary Medical Center on Friday, April 14, 2006. She was a V.P. for Moneyfacts, Inc.
She is survived by her children and grandchildren: Susan (Greg) Nolen of Madison, AL, Robert (Kim) Johnson, Blake, Taylor, and Bailey Ann of Flowery Branch, GA; Joyce (Jeff) Stauffer, Lindsey, Katie, and Molly of Chesterton; Bill (Faith) Johnson, Holly, Hunter, and Houston of Portage; special "son" and friend, Shawn Dunn of Chesterton; brother, Charles "Bud" Greiner; sister, Bonnie Pluid; brother-in-law, Norman Diedrich; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great niece and nephew. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl "Bud" Johnson, and brother, Melvin "Pete" Greiner.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 19th, from Augustana Lutheran Church, 207 Kelly St., Hobart, at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Charles R. Strietelmeier officiating. Interment will take place at Calumet Park Cemetery. Visitation for friends and relatives will be Tuesday, April 18th from 2 - 8 p.m. at Kraft Funeral Services and Crematory, 370 N.
