Charlene's birth certificate, her birth name is Charlene Marie Anderson, legitimate daughter of Ralph F Anderson and Marie M Dusich (FAG 167902842). Ralph and Marie were married on October 8, 1930 in Lake County, Indiana. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts.

After Charlene's birth but before the 1940 census, Marie married Floyd I Van Blaircom. Floyd may have adopted Charlene, since she identified herself as Charlene Marie Van Blaircom on her marriage certificate; and Floyd Van Blaircom is listed as her father on her death certificate.

Charlene married Max Howe Watson on December 23, 1953 in Hobart, Lake, Indiana, but they divorced before her death. The last record I have of him is in Freeland, Washington in 1998, and he may still be living there.
