Nancy Lee Goodspeed, 76, of Cloquet, died Sunday, Jan. 17, 2010 in the Inter-Faith Care Center in Carlton.

She was born Jan. 25, 1933 in Gary, Indiana to Carl and Ina Baumann. Nancy grew up in Hobart, Indiana and graduated from high school in 1950. After high school, she worked of U.S. Steel in Gary until 1955 when she moved to Minneapolis and went to work at Standard Oil. In 1957, she moved to Seattle where she worked at Boeing. She also lived in Germany for three years. Nancy moved to Cloquet and from 1974 until 1995 she worked for the Cloquet Public Schools as a financial secretary.

Nancy was a member of Grace Baptist Church. She was loved by all who she came in contact with.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Dale Baumann.

Nancy is survived by four sons, Jeffrey of Cloquet, Scott (Christy) of Blaine, Craig (Mindy) of Texas, and Ross (Rachel) of Germany; grandchildren, Amber, Justin, Collin, Eric, Jessica, Kenneth, Matthew, Michael, Nicole, Trevor, Benjamin, and Zeke.

There will be no services per Nancy's request. Arrangements entrusted to the Atkins-Northland Funeral Home in Cloquet.
