Evelyn Mroz Obituary

EVELYN T. MROZ Hobart, Indiana Age 74, passed away Sunday, October 16, 2005, at Saint Mary Medical Center. She was a lifelong Hobart resident and was a member of St. Bridget Catholic Church. She will be remembered by her family as a wonderful homemaker, mother and grandmother, and great-grand-mother.

Evelyn is survived by her children, Diane (John) Skoutaris of Valparaiso, and Robert Mroz of Hobart; sisters, Sophie Hielscher of Minnesota, Jenny (Wayne) Kemling of FL; grandchildren, Pete and Alexander Skoutaris, Donna (Doug) Tipold, and Crystal Mroz; great-grandson, Zacharie Erdelles; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Edward; parents, Adam and Emily Laskowski; numerous brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be Thursday, October 20, 2005, beginning with prayers at 9:30 a.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Road, then to St. Bridget Church for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial with Rev. Dominic V. Bertino officiating. Cremation will follow in Calvary Cemetery and Crematory, Portage. Visiting hours will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, October 19, 2005, at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart.
