PEGGY L. AHLBRAND (nee NEFF) Hobart, Indiana Age 73, passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2006. She was a longtime Hobart resident, a charter member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, and a member of Tri Kappa Sorority. She was very artistic and enjoyed photography, painting, drawing, sewing and gardening.

She is survived by her husband, Lloyd Ahlbrand of Hobart; 4 children: Debbie (George) Quill of Louisville, KY, Lee Anne (Joseph) Galovic of Aurora, IL, Jeff (Traci) Ahlbrand of Ballwin, MO, Scott (Casey) Ahlbrand of North Richland Hills, TX; 2 sisters: Jacque (George) Crowe of Muncie, IN, Jane (Dean) Lewis of Hobart; and 9 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eldon and Beulah Neff.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Funeral services are Monday, June 5, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at Graceland Evangelical Lutheran Church, 6240 Grand Blvd., Hobart with Rev. Frederic Lams officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Hobart. Visitation is Sunday, June 4, 2006 from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart.
