OBITUARY FROM POST-TRIBUNE, AUGUST 28, 2005:
MARION L. GLYNN Hobart/Gary, Indiana Age 82, passed away Sataurday, August 27, 2005 at St. Mary Medical Center. Marion retired from American Bridge Co. with 27 years experience. She was a lifelong member of St. Bridget Church.
She is survived by a close friend, Alice Greenlee of Hobart; one sister, Ruth Crisman of Wheeler; a brother-in-law, Ira Montgomery of Hobart; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, William F. and Louise M (Thyen) Glynn; also a brother William H. Glynn and a sister Margaret Montgomery.
Memorial contributions are preferred to St. Bridget School or for masses for the repose of Marion's soul. There will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian burial will beheld Tuesday, August 30, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. from St. Bridget Church, Front and Center Street, Hobart. Rev. Dominic V. Bertino officiating. Cremation Calvary Cemetery. Final resting place at Cornell Cemetery, Hebron. Arrangements completed by Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel. 942-2109.
