After school I spent 4 yrs in the U.S.Navy, then started working at U.S.Steel Sheet & Tin mill. Remained there until 1978 and left as General Foreman 84" Hot Strip Mill. Staying in the steel industry we moved and lived near Pittsburg, St. Louis, and now in Grosse Ile, MI. near Detroit. I was fortunate enough to be involved in many aspects of the steel business and retired in 2000 after working in many levels, including VP Operations. We, Bonnie & I, have enjoyed retirement and travel, BUT she stills works as a Realtor.

Went to the Hobart school system until I was a Junior. Left then because of Zero Hour (Too early to go to school) and graduated from East Gary Edison.
