Karen Newcomb, age 58, of Portage, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2024. She was born on June 21, 1965, in Galax, Virginia, to Bud and Linda Hilton.

Karen is survived by her husband, Michael Newcomb of Portage, IN; daughters, Kristen (James) Billoo and Brittney Newcomb and beloved grandson, Michael and canine companion, Harley. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Karen graduated from Hobart High School. She enjoyed riding the motorcycle with her husband. She loved spending time at the lake and vacations to Tennessee. One of her favorite things to do was going to lunch and shopping with her daughters and watching her grandson skate.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at 7:00 pm at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, Portage Chapel, 6941 Central Avenue, Portage, IN 46368. Memorial Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until the time of service at 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made to the family at www.ee-fh.com.
