Ervin C. Carstensen, age 91, of Hobart, died Thursday, February 17, 2022.  Ervin is survived by many close, loving nieces and nephews. He was born on July 2, 1930 in Gary, Indiana to the late Erwin and Esther (nee Hartin) Carstensen.  He graduated from Hobart High School Class of 1948 and later from Valparaiso University Law School.  He served in the US Army from 1954 to 1956 and was stationed in Germany. Ervin served 4 years as Hobart City Judge in the 1960's.
