Robert L. Price, 74, of Hobart, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2001. Bob retired from I.B.E.W. Local 697 in 1989. He was a Hobart High School graduate, class of 1945.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Percy and Kathryn Price and his first wife, Gwendolyn (nee Sohn). Bob is survived by his wife of 23 years, Shirley (nee Carstensen); four daughters, Lynn Heller and Kim (Roger) Hunt, both of Hobart, Jill Jones of Alabama and Shirlee (Bill) Boyd of Minnesota; his brother John (Jo) Price of Arkansas; four sisters: Norma Wilson, Nancy (Bill) Crussen, Patricia (Robert) Howisen and Linda (Jim) Lindsay; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed as well by his six stepchildren: Linda Tolliver, Ron (Vickie) Hamilton, James Hamilton, Nancy Hamilton and Susan Soria, all of Hobart, Bill Hamilton of California; 20 step grandchildren and one step great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are Monday, March 12, 2001, 11 a.m. at the Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart, IN. Burial at Calumet Park Cemetery with Rev. Wesley Crest officiating. Friends may visit on Sunday from 2 to 9 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel.
