Gladys M. Ross (nee Harney), age 101, a lifetime resident of Hobart, IN, passed away at home on August 29, 2023. Gladys was born at home on July 5, 1922 to Fred and Mamie Harney and was a graduate of Hobart High School. She was a life long member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Hobart. Gladys loved her family, church and flowers. She will be greatly missed.

Gladys was preceded in death by her parents; son-Kenneth W. Ross; brother-Clarence Harney. She is survived by her children-Lynn (Joseph) Larson, Tom (Judy) Ross; grandchildren Daniel (Megan) Larson, Maria (Scott) Owens, Christopher (Chrisie Caudill) Larson, Justin Ross, Nathan (Luisangela) Ross; much enjoyed and loved great grandchildren-Spencer Larson, Elizabeth Owens, Connor Owens, Reagan Larson, Luna Ross; beloved caretakers, especially Becky and some very special longtime friends.

Visitation for Gladys will be Wednesday, September 6, 2023, from 4-7:00 p.m., at Burns Funeral Home, 701 East 7th Street, Hobart. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, September 7, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. DIRECTLY at Trinity Lutheran Church, 900 Luther Drive, Hobart, IN, Pastor Nathan Kramer officiating.
