Betty L. Heller, 77, of Hobart, passed away Sunday, October 3, 1999. Mrs. Heller had been a lifelong Hobart resident and was a member of the 1st United Methodist Church in Hobart. A member of the Hobart High School graduating class of 1940. She was employed at the Schultz Brothers 5 & 10 Vossberg's Ladies Apparel; Hobart License Bureau; Hobart Assessor's office and The Hobart Middle School, retiring in 1987.

Survivors are husband, Louis; three sons, Louis W. Heller of Valparaiso, Philip N. (Lana) Heller, DDS of Indianapolis and Mark D. (Diane) Heller of Hobart; four grandchildren, Brian, Beth, Ryan and Remington; and two cousins, Dorothy Ittel and Ben Watts, both of Hobart.

Memorial service Wednesday, October 6, 1999 at 8 p.m. from Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Road, Hobart, IN, Rev. Larry Whitehead officiating. Cremation will take place at Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday 2 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel.
