Eldor Pflughoeft - Class Of 1936

OBITUARY FROM THE NW INDIANA TIMES, FEBRUARY 24, 2013:

Mr. Eldor Robert Pflughoeft, 94, Watersmeet, MI, formerly of Hobart, died Friday, February 15, 2013 in Augusta, GA where he was spending the winter with his daughter.

Survivors include four children: Diane (Paul) James, Rev. Mark (Susie) Pflughoeft, Rex (Barb) Pflughoeft, and Becky (Jay) Shifra; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; a sister, Victoria (Kenneth) Richmond; three nephews; and many other relatives. He was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Adah Simpson Pflughoeft.

Mr. Pflughoeft, together with his parent, Herman and Lola Pflughoeft, owned Pflughoeft Funeral Home in Hobart for many years. A member of Hope Lutheran Church, Land O'Lakes, WI, and previously of Trinity Lutheran Church, Hobart, IN, Mr. Pflughoeft's cremains have been returned to Michigan for a memorial service and internment sometime in June.
