Rev. Larry Bryant, 96, of Lee's Summit, MO, died, Friday, Feb. 27, 2009. Funeral services 1 p.m., Wed., New Beginnings Nazarene Church, 601 NW Libby Lane, Lee's Summit, MO 64063. Burial in Lee's Summit Cemetery. Visitation 6:30-8:30 p.m., Tues., at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Global Ministry Center, Nazarene World Mission, 17001 Prairie Star Parkway, Lenexa, KS 66220.

Rev. Larry Bryant was born December 5, 1912, in Louisville, Illinois. He was a minister of the Gospel, a teacher, a District Superintendent in the Church of the Nazarene. He was a Bible School Director, a dedicated missionary, father of five successful leaders, a generous man who shared cheerfully with others, a man who encouraged others to become leaders, unselfish, maintained a Christ like attitude of humility, a loving husband, and a man who had a wholesome sense of humor. He was preceded in death by five siblings, and his grandson, Bryan Collins. He is survived by his wife, Eunice Kendall Bryant, his sister Odette Wall, his five children: Ken Bryant, Marilyn Baker, Mark Bryant, Joyce Collins, David Bryant, and ten grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren.
