John Hook - Class Of 1984

OBITUARY FROM DIGNITY MEMORIAL WEBSITE:

John J. Hook, age 55, a resident of Hamtramck, MI left this world suddenly on Monday, January 24, 2022. He was born on August 16, 1966 in Hobart, IN to the late Joseph and Marilyn Hook. He spent part of his life living in Chicago and later moved to Michigan. John was a dedicated employee at Troy Design and Manufacturing Company in Plymouth, MI. An IT specialist, John was also a talented musician. He had an incredible sense of humor along with an unforgettable laugh that could brighten your day. He was devoted to his Schipperke, Luca.

John touched the lives of everyone around him and will be greatly missed by all that had the opportunity to know him. He will be remembered as a caring partner, son, brother, uncle, sponsor and friend. John is survived by his loving partner, Ryan Ennis; his siblings: Jeaneane Landers (Jim), Monica Stone, Edward Hook and step-brother Mike Hook (Ann); aunts and uncles: Kathleen Van, Annamarie Pero (Joe), Frank Loiacano (Marcia), Patty Loiacano; nieces and nephews: Elizabeth Messina (Matt), Emily Landers, Katelynn Tew (Cameron), Michael Nixon (Kate), Aaron Landers, Madeline Nixon, Steven Stone and many other loving cousins, family members and friends, including dear friend Jeff Higgins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents and Godparents: Robert Loiacano and Christina Loiacano.

Family and friends will celebrate John’s life on March 5, 2022, at The War Memorial, 32 Lake Shore Drive, Grosse Pointe Farms, MI 48236 from 11AM to 3PM.
