
OBITUARY FROM REES FUNERAL HOME WEBSITE:
DANIEL PAUL PANCER, age 43, of Hobart, IN passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2026, while surrounded by his loving family after a brief and courageous fight against an aggressive form of metastatic cancer.
He was born in Valparaiso, IN on June 14, 1983 and was a graduate of Hobart High School. He loved trucks, bonfires, music, movies, Bob Ross, everything to do with summer, and overall just having a good time. Dan will be remembered as a loving and devoted father, son, grandson, nephew, and friend.
He is survived by his 6 children: Skye M Pancer, Meisha C (Dennis D) Pancer, Emma C Pancer, Seth M Pancer, Mira S Pancer, and Emmett P Pancer; Mother, Kimberly A (Deacon Dale) Webdell (nee SeDoris) and Father, Mark A (Sandi) Pancer; 3 Brothers, Ed (Alexis) Webdell, Ben (Donna) Webdell, and Ace Pancer; Grandfather, Donald (Nancy) SeDoris; Aunt, Barbara SeDoris and a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends including special friend of 23 years, Melissa (Roger T) Mihal; and Grandkitty, Kuma Pancer.
Daniel was preceded in death by his grandparents, Margaret SeDoris, as well as, Alphonse and Frances Pancer.
Through organ/tissue donation provided by Vision First - Dan was able to provide the gift of vision to two people with his beautiful eyes.

Services for Dan will be Friday, July 17, 2026 with visitation from 2pm until the time of service at 5pm with Deacon Dale Webdell officiating at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 W Old Ridge Rd, Hobart, IN. Services will conclude at the funeral home and cremation will take place at a later time. Casual dress attire is welcomed as Dan wants everyone to "Come as You are".
