Christine F Ketchum, age 42, of Hobart, passed away August 26, 2015. She was born February 4, 1973 in Gary, Indiana, to the late father Robert Reno Carpenter and her mother Susan (nee Szacka) Carpenter. She worked at Norton’s Bar as a Bartender.

Christine is survived by husband, Bill Ketchum of Hobart; four sons, Jacob Johnson of Gary, Randy Johnson of Portage, Tristan Walker of Hobart and Samuel Henson of Hobart; two grandchildren, Ellie Rae Johnson and Greysen Rae Johnson, her mother; brother, Robert Douglas Carpenter of Hobart, nephew Jordan Henson; two nieces, Syndal Carpenter and Paige Henson; dear friend, Ken “DOC” Coleman of Hobart, and many other loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, sister, Cynthia Henson and brother, Samuel Carpenter.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Bob Burton officiating at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart, Indiana 46342. Cremation will follow.
