Marsha Orr (nee Bellich), age 73, of Hobart, peacefully passed away August 9, 2022. She was born to Mike and Dorothy Bellich September 20, 1948. In 1966, she graduated from Lew Wallace High School. While working at USS, Marsha met Jim whom she married August 19, 1973. While raising her children, she worked for the School City of Hobart as a secretary at Liberty, Foreman, and Joan Martin Elementary Schools. Marsha later worked as a training coordinator at Centier Bank until her health suddenly declined in July of 2022.

Marsha was an avid Green Bay Packers fan, and never missed a game. She loved taking care of her yard and entertaining for the holidays. Most of all, Marsha’s world revolved around her only grandchild, Lauren. Together they played dolls, baked, listened to One Direction, frequented Olive Garden, and loved to shop.

Marsha is survived by her son - David (Jennie) Orr of Bloomington, IN, daughter – Heather Orr of Hobart, and granddaughter Lauren House. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jim, parents – Mike and Dorothy Bellich, and brother – David Bellich.

The family would also like to extend it’s heartfelt gratitude to the Jaksa and Canarecci families for their lifelong friendship and support. The outpouring of support from Marsha’s Centier family filled her final days with joy and happiness. A special thank you to Jason Howard for his strength and support of Heather and Lauren during such a difficult time.

A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, August 19th from 4:00- 6:00 pm with a memorial service at 6pm at Burns Funeral Home, 10101 Broadway, Crown Point, IN 46307. Pastor John Starr officiating. www.burnsfuneral.com.
