James “Jim” Kristoff age 86, of DeMotte, IN passed away on January 24, 2010. He was born on September 10, 1923, the son of the late Chris and Helen (Stoynav) Kristoff, both deceased.
On November 2, 1945, he married Mary Shackelford, who survives. After High School Jim went on to receive his BA and MA in education and his THD in Theology. Jim taught in the River Forest and Hobart School Systems. He also owned and operated Alpha Refrigeration for many years. Jim also served as a missionary to the Hopi and Navaho Indians, organized a Christian School, served as a pastor and produced Bible Gems which is a World Wide Bible Tape Ministry. Jim proudly served in the US Army during WWII.
James is survived by his loving wife, Mary Kristoff;
Sons; Terry Kristoff of Kalamazoo, MI and Ronald (Beverly) Kristoff of Georgetown, KY
4 grandchildren & several great-grandchildren;
Sister - Sandra Pedone, DeMotte, IN;
Brother - Stanley (Lil) Kristoff of Englewood, FL
