A member of the greatest generation, Mr. Bigler (as we all called him) was my Algebra I teacher when I was in Jr. High School during the early 1960's.  I remember him taking a special interest in not only me and my academic achievement but that of the entire class.  I will never forget his mentorship and kindness towards me and as the result the A that I was able to earn in his Algebra class.  He positively impacted my education and influenced the decision to go on to college after High School where I graduated from Tennessee Technological University with a BS Degree from the College of Engineering.  Thank you Mr. Bigler and may the God of all creation hold you near until we can all meet again to laugh and fellowship again in the adventure of eternity.
