OBITUARY INFORMATION FROM CALUMET PARK CEMETERY WEBSITE:

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a loving son, brother, father, and friend, Joseph T. Galovic, who passed away Sunday, November 5th, 2023, at the age of 64.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Jr. and Virginia, and brother, Andrew.

Joe’s family included his brother, Tom III (Denise); nephew, Tom IV (Angela), and great-nephew Hayden; sister, Ann Marie (John Gaboury); sister Kathleen; and son, Christofer (Justyna) and daughter, Jillianne.

Joe had the biggest heart in the world. He was a man with a strong character and gentle spirit. He was a pillar of strength for his friends and family, and was always ready to offer support, guidance, and a warm smile. He loved to laugh, and make others laugh. The legacy of love and wisdom Joe leaves behind is immeasurable. He touched the lives of many with his kindness, compassion, and unwavering love. As we mourn his loss, we also celebrate a life well-lived, and the profound impact he had on those fortunate enough to have known him.

He loved Christofer and Jill beyond anything but had room for all. His love lives on, and all that is true and beautiful and good in him will eventually be a source of comfort and healing for those who were blessed to know him.

We thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers along with their love and support for Joe and all of us.
