OBITUARY FROM NW INDIANA TIMES, DECEMBER 18, 2011:

Astrid Z. Cicak, 88, of Sarasota, FL, formerly of Hobart, IN, passed away Friday, December 9, 2011.

She is survived by five children: John (Elfi) Cicak of Indianapolis, IN, Mary (late Ron) Draves of Sarasota, FL, Monique (Jan) Gojko of Fayetteville, NC, Emanuela Lee (late John) Janik of Crown Point, IN and Michael (Joyce) Cicak of Northport, FL; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, Fedor Cicak.

Astrid was born August 25, 1923. She was an art teacher at Hobart High School for 26 years and then retired to Sarasota, FL.

A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, January 7, 2012 at Church of the Incarnation, 2901 Bee Ridge, Sarasota, FL 34239. Memorial donations may be sent to Philanthropy Department, Tidewell Hospice, 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, FL 34238.
