ARTICLE FROM THE BOOKLET "IN REVIEW: HOBART SCHOOL BANDS, 1958-1959":
Fred Higgenbottom (1966)
My sincere condolences to his family. Mr. Webb, as he was known to us, served as the band teacher during my time at Hobart Jr. High School in the early 1960s. I played the clarinet until a choice had to be made between continuing in the band or pursuing football and basketball. I opted for the sports, yet the experiences and life lessons imparted by Mr. Webb have stayed with me ever since.
Doug Davis (1962)
He was a wonderful band director and an inspiration to many of us.
