Marion Jeanne Turley, age 87, of Hobart, Indiana went to heaven on Tuesday, August 20, 2024. She was born in Gary, Indiana on March 19, 1937.

Marion graduated from Lew Wallace High School, she then attended DePauw University and was in the Tri Delta sorority. Her hobbies were gardening and attending the sporting events of her family. Marion was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church-Hobart. She was part of the Alter Guild and a Greeter at Saturday night services. She was the treasurer of the Hobart Football Booster Club and a "Pink Lady” at St. Mary Medical Center. She worked as a substitute teacher for The School City of Hobart and was a receptionist at Kara's Hair Studio.

Marion was preceded in death by her parents; Erich Kuppler, Jeanne Kuppler Underwood, and Straud Underwood, her husband; Lonnie Turley, grandson; Brandon Turley. Marion is survived by her brother; Ronald "Bud" (Jan) Kuppler, her children; Erica (Robert) Glover, Robert (Karen) Turley, Randy (Debby) Turley, Kara (David) Watts, Ryan Turley, Amy Turley. Grandchildren; Bobby, Matt, Greg, Krystal, Katie, Kayla, Brittany, Cassidy, Layne, Lucas, Tyler, Autumn, Audrey, and Alexis. Great grandchildren; Faith, Bo, August, Eleanor, Ava, Ozzie, Willow, Lennyn, Barron, Levii, Barrett.

Visitation is Monday August 26, 2024, at Burns Funeral Home 701 East 7th Street Hobart, Indiana 46342 from 10 AM until the time of service at 12 PM with Rev. Nathan Kramer officiating. Memorials can be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or School. www.BurnsFuneral.com
