Obituary for Monty Joe Haynes

Monty Joe Haynes, age 60, of Crown Point, IN, passed away November 1, 2017, surrounded by his loved ones. Monty was a dedicated 2nd generation member of Ironworkers Local 395 who prided himself on his union roots. He was a 1975 graduate of Hobart High School. Monty was a proud father of 4 and the absolute best Papa to his 7 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father- Richard Haynes. Monty will be lovingly remembered by his mother - Sandra Haynes; sister- Melodi Belei; children- Joshua Haynes, Matthew (Natasha) Haynes, Nicholas (Aiza) Haynes, and Katelyn Haynes; grandchildren- Devlin, Nicholas, Addison, Lukas, Logan, Nikolai, Avianna, and nephew- Anton Belei; mother of his children- Mary Haynes; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Friends are invited to visit with Monty's family on Saturday, November 11, 2017, from 10 a.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 12 p.m.at Burns Funeral Home, 10101 Broadway, Crown Point, IN. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Monty’s name to Northwestern Memorial Hospital’s Kovler Organ Transplantation Center.
