Born on November 16, 1977, in Harvey, Illinois, Mike was a man of exceptional character, whose friendly and loving nature touched all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
From the very beginning, Mike was a bright spark in the lives of his parents, James W. and Patricia A. Randall. He grew up alongside his sisters, Tracy (Hank) King, Jennifer Randall, and Jamie (Christian) Heide, in a home filled with laughter and love. Mike's warmth and intelligence were evident from a young age, and these traits only grew stronger as he matured into a man who was deeply cherished by his family, including his children Dakota (Molly) Randall, Madeline Randall, and Joshua Randall, as well as his numerous nieces and nephews.
Mike's professional life as a welder was spent with Consolidated Fabricator Inc. and Star Con, where his colleagues respected him for his skill and dedication. His hands were not only strong but also incredibly skilled; Mike could make anything with metal, from functional pieces to intricate jewelry, showcasing his artistic side. His creativity was matched by his adventurous spirit, which was most evident in his love for fishing and dirt bike riding. These activities brought Mike a sense of freedom and joy that he loved to share with others.
Among his closest friends, Brian Weeks, Mike Manna, and Martin Cruz and many others, Mike was known for his unwavering loyalty and the ability to bring joy to any occasion. Their bonds were forged in shared experiences and strengthened by Mike's genuine care and companionship.
Throughout his life, Mike's friendly demeanor, loving heart, and intelligent mind were constants that drew people to him. He had the rare ability to uplift others with a simple smile or a thoughtful word, and his presence was a source of comfort and happiness.
