Hughes, Marlene Ann Age 63, of Crown Point, formerly of Hobart, passed away on Friday, May 27, 2011. Marlene was a graduate of Crown Point High School, Class of 1966. She retired as a Teacher’s Aide at the Hobart Middle School. Marlene was a member of the Crown Point First United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin & Shirley Fasel. Marlene is survived by her husband of 34 years, Larry Hughes of Crown Point; son, Brian (Julie) Hughes of Hobart and 2 grandchildren, Victoria & Cameron.

Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 from 2:00p.m. to 8:00p.m. at Burns Funeral Home, 10101 Broadway, Crown Point, IN.
