OBITUARY FROM VILAS COUNTY NEWS-REVIEW (EAGLE RIVER, WI) WEBSITE:

Brent Thorgren, age 70, a resident of Phelps, Wis., since 2009 and formerly of Rockland, Mich., passed away at his home on Monday, Sept. 27, 2021.

Brent was born on March 5, 1951, to William and Betty Thorgren in Hobart, Ind.  

He loved woodworking and photography. He worked on the restoration of the old mining cabins at Old Victoria. 

Brent always wanted to spend his time outdoors and enjoyed fishing. Above all, he loved spending his time with his grandchildren.  

Brent is survived by his daughter, Celeste Hendrickson of Houghton, Mich.; son, Jeremy Wright of Laurium, Mich.; sister, Ciara Thorgren; and grandchildren: Nick, Kaylynn, Riley, Chloe and Avery.
