OBITUARY FROM POST-TRIBUNE, MAY 28, 2007:

Stephen J. Peterson, age 38 years, of Hobart, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2007. He was a lifetime Hobart resident graduating from Hobart High School in 1986. He worked at Chicago Steel. Stephen was a member of the Hobart Eagles, AERIE #2498. He enjoyed Car Racing, Fishing and 4-wheeling.

He is survived by his parents, Robert and Janet Peterson of Gleason, Wisconsin; one son, Nicholas Peterson; one daughter, Katlynd Peterson, both of Chesterton, Indiana; three brothers, Robert (Fernanda) Peterson, Jr. of Pensacola, Florida, Daniel Peterson of Merrill, Wisconsin and Randall Peterson of Hobart; and nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart, with Rev. Gary S. Nagy officiating. Burial will follow at the Evergreen Cemetery, Hobart, Indiana. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 29, 2007 from 2:00 P.M. to 5:00 P. M. and 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. with a 7:00 P.M.
