Walter A. Kaiser, 58, of Crown Point, formerly of Hobart, passed away at
the Lutheran Home in Crown Point on Tuesday, April 28, 1998. He was a former
custodian at Hobart High School and member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Hobart.
Preceded in death by parents, Charles and Eathel Kaiser and a brother, Arthur
Kaiser. Survived by sister-in-law, Carolyn Kaiser of Hebron; four nephews,
Kenneth (Jane) Kaiser of St. John, IN., Phillip (Carla) Kaiser, Donald Kaiser,
James (Pam) Kaiser, and one niece, Sandra (Ron) Schaafsma, all of Crown Point.
Funeral services Thursday, April 30, 1998, 1 p.m. at the Crown of Life
Chapel at the Lutheran Retirement Village in Crown Point, 1200 East Luther
Drive, Chaplain Dwight E. Rengstorf officiating. Family requests memorials be
given to the Lutheran Home of Northwest Indiana. Burial will be at
Merrillville Cemetery. Friends may call directly at the Crown of Life Chapel on
