LYDIA ONETTA KENNEDY (nee STROUSE) DeMotte, Indiana Age 66, passed away Thursday, July 13, 2006. She was a longtime resident of DeMotte and was retired from St. Joseph's College where she worked as a System's Administrator. Lydia was a member of Range Line Presbyterian Church and the International Order of the Eastern Star, Hebron.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Fredrick E. Kennedy of DeMotte; 2 sons: Stephen Kennedy of DeMotte, Matthew Kennedy of OH; 1 daughter: Kimberly (Michael) Kennedy-Bryant of Weston, CT; 4 granddaughters: Katherine Kennedy of Crown Point, Delaney, McKenna and Tatum Bryant, all of Weston, CT. She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Juanita Strouse.

Memorial services are Thursday, July 27, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at the Range Line Presbyterian Church, 18221 Clay St., Hebron, 46341 with Roger Hartzler officiating. There will be a procession to Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery, Hobart for burial of cremains. Memorial visitation is Thursday 1 hour prior to the service from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. at the Church. Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel assisting with arrangements.
