OBITUARY FROM NW INDIANA TIMES, NOVEMBER 15, 2013:
Daniel R. Puchowski, age 56, a lifelong resident of Northwest Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
Dan is survived by his two children: Michael and Kaytlin of Crown Point; sisters: Carol Puchowski of Valparaiso and Janet Richmond of Portage; brothers: George Michael Puchowski and Gerald Puchowski of Hobart; nieces and nephews: Michelle (Moises) Vallejo, Jennifer Richmond, Adam Klein, Michael Toigo, Amber Toigo, Vincent Bonaventura, and Grace Krischke; beloved ex-wife Jo Toigo; and extended family: Lloyd Purchatzke, Patricia Petersen, and Rick Rayner. Dan was preceded in death by loving parents: George and Dorothy (Miller) Puchowski of Hobart.
Dan was a self-employed real estate manager and an avid Harley enthusiast. He will be remembered as a loving father, brother, and uncle and will be greatly missed.

A memorial visitation for Dan will be held Saturday, November 16, 2013 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 W. Old Ridge Road, Hobart, Indiana with a 7:00 p.m. memorial service. Father Dominic V. Bertino officiating. Burial of Cremains will be Sunday, November 17, 2013 beginning with 12:00 p.m. prayers at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, then proceeding to Graceland Cemetery in Valparaiso for a 12:30 p.m. interment.
