Felicia M. "Sis" Sons-Sumler, age 28, of Hobart, passed away on Thursday December 27, 2007. She was born on August 20, 1979 in Merrillville, IN the daughter of James and Betty Sumler. She had previously attended Hobart High School, enjoyed talking with friends and family, loved to play Yatzee and write poems. She was a wonderful mother to her two beautiful children.

She is survived by her loving family; son Jordan Michael James Sons of Hobart; daughter Lanaya Christine Sons of Hobart; parents Betty and James Sumler of Hobart; grandmother Norma Sons of Hobart; grandmother Sue Sumler of Hammond; brothers: James Sumler, Jr., of Hobart and Justin Sumler of Hobart; sister Amy (Jason) Grundell of DeMotte; nephews Corey Sumler-Hyatte and Seth Grundell and other loving family and dear friends.

A visitation for Felicia Sons will be held from 2-9 p.m. on Wednesday, January 2, 2008 at Rees Funeral Home-Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Rd., Hobart. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 3, 2008 at Rees Funeral Home with Rev. David Webb, officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Hobart.
