Samuel Biter - Class Of 2006

OBITUARY FROM THE NW INDIANA TIMES, OCTOBER 26, 2011:

Samuel James Biter, age 23, formerly of Hobart, passed away October 22, 2011. Sam was a graduate of Hobart High School, Class of 2006, where he played football and wrestled. He served our country for four years as a Navy Corpsman (medic). Sam cared for his marines during two deployments in Afghanistan, Iraq and Haiti. After his discharge from the service, he attended Cleveland State in TN where he was pursuing a nursing degree. Sam was known for his huge heart, his infectious smile and his loyalty to his friends. He loved to laugh, live life boldly and touched the hearts of all who knew him. Sam loved the Chicago White Sox, Chicago Bears and hanging out with family and friends at the lake. He was so loved by many. We will miss Sam and remember all he gave us. Rest in peace our precious Sam.

Sam is survived by his parents: Timothy and Freddie Biter of Valparaiso; maternal grandparents: James Fred and Barsha Bright of Athens, TN; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Friday, October 28, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home, 701 E. 7th St., Hobart. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P. O.
